This home is a 1970 Paradise Valley house. Back then the homes were built with the dining room and kitchen in separate spaces. The rooms were small and the kitchens were ineffective and not cooker friendly. This client wanted to open up the house. Although the rooms were small by eliminating a few walls the space became larger. By doing this it created welcoming feel to the entire home. The kitchen became more effective because of the island in the center. The hardwood floors through out the area also give the illusion of the home being larger. Now when guests come to their home instead of seeing a wall, they are able to see this beautiful kitchen. The cabinets are maple with a glaze and she chose a high definition laminate counter top. This proves that you can have a beautiful kitchen that is very functional
without breaking your budget!
